Alpha Omega News

The past few months at Alpha Omega have been a time of change, and not knowing how things were going to be and how it all would affect the volunteers. I was relieved somewhat tonight to hear that one of the BIG decisions have been made. So it is with a very sad heart that we now have to start saying our goodbyes to one of the BEST center directors EVER!!! Emily Cook has been a frontline warrior in the fight for Life in Hillsdale County since 2004. Since 2005 she has been the director and for a year now she has been one of my closest friends. She not only has been Center Director, but also is Mom to 4 kids, and wife of a Minister. So Welcome to Kathy Beckwith our new director and Steve Wismar executive director. Emily, Thanks for all you have done for the Center, both the clients and volunteers. Thanks for opening your heart up to so many people. You have made a real difference to so many men, women and babies! You will be missed, but always LOVED!!!

We had a Wonderful Easter!! It is always a celebration of Life, Spring and the Risen Lord! It's also a nice time to get cute pictures. Unfortunately we didn't get any of Kendrick getting his Easter Baskets this year.

New to this

Well after much "peer pressure" I decided to try my hand at the blog thing. I don't know how often it will be updated, but hopefully it won't be months on end. Now I need to figure out how to post pics and do all the other "cool" stuff!!
